Not enough cargo for a full container? Ship it by the cubic metre.
LCL — less than container load — puts your pallets in a shared container alongside other shippers' cargo, so you pay for the space you actually use. A 3 CBM order sails on the same weekly service as a full one. We consolidate in our own China warehouse, which means several suppliers arrive as a single line on one bill of lading.
How LCL is priced
Sea LCL is charged on whichever is greater: your volume in cubic metres, or your weight in tonnes. One CBM is treated as 1,000 kg — the industry's weight-or-measurement rule. Dense cargo pays on weight; light, bulky cargo pays on volume.
- CBM
- Length × width × height in metres, per carton or pallet. Measured after packing, so pallet feet and shrink wrap count.
- The W/M rule
- 1 CBM counts as 1,000 kg. We quote against whichever of the two numbers is higher for your load.
- Minimum charge
- China–Middle East consolidations normally start at 1 CBM. Below that, express is usually the cheaper door-to-door option.
- Destination charges
- LCL adds CFS handling and deconsolidation on arrival. We quote those upfront so nothing lands as a surprise invoice.

China to the Middle East, answered.
Which Middle East countries do you ship to?+
Door to door into the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman — Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Jeddah, Riyadh, Dammam, Doha, Kuwait City, Manama and Muscat. For Jordan, Iraq, Egypt or Lebanon, message us and we'll quote the lane.
Do you handle door-to-door shipping, or only port to port?+
Full door to door: collection in China — or your supplier delivers to our warehouse — then consolidation, export clearance, FCL, LCL, air or express freight, import customs in your country, and delivery to your address.
How long does shipping from China to the UAE, Saudi Arabia or Qatar take?+
By sea, typically 18–24 days to the UAE, 20–28 to Saudi Arabia, 18–26 to Oman, and 22–30 to Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain. Air is 3–5 days to Dubai and 4–6 days to the rest; express runs 2–5 days. We confirm your exact window at quote time.
Who handles customs duties and VAT on arrival?+
We do — classification, documentation, duty and VAT with licensed brokers in each country, including SASO / Saber certification for Saudi Arabia and ECAS conformity for the UAE.
Can you consolidate orders from several suppliers into one shipment?+
Yes — that is the core of what we do. We combine multiple suppliers in our China warehouse and export one consolidated load, which cuts your freight cost and gives you a single bill of lading to track.
What is LCL shipping, and when is it better than a full container?+
LCL (less than container load) shares one container between several shippers, so you pay for the cubic metres you occupy rather than a whole box. It usually wins from around 1 CBM up to about 13–15 CBM; above that, a 20ft full container is generally cheaper per cubic metre.
How is LCL freight from China to the Middle East priced?+
On volume or weight, whichever is greater — the weight-or-measurement rule, where 1 CBM counts as 1,000 kg. On top of the sea freight sit origin handling, destination CFS and deconsolidation, customs duty and last-mile delivery. We quote all of it as one door-to-door figure.
How do I calculate the CBM of my shipment?+
Multiply length × width × height in metres for one carton, multiply that by the number of cartons, then add your cartons together. Use the packed dimensions — pallets and shrink wrap count towards the volume you are charged for.
Is LCL slower than a full container?+
Slightly. The sea leg is identical, but LCL adds consolidation in China and deconsolidation at the destination CFS — typically 3–7 days in total. We build that into the window we quote you.
Do you source products or find factories for me?+
No — we are a freight consolidator and forwarder, not a sourcing agent. You buy from your own suppliers. We take it from there: collection or delivery into our China warehouse, consolidation, freight, customs and delivery to your door in the Middle East.
Can my supplier deliver straight to your warehouse?+
Yes, and it is the most common way in. Send us your supplier's details and we issue delivery instructions with your warehouse reference. We check every carton in against your packing list as it arrives.
Do you support Canton Fair buyers?+
Yes — consolidation is exactly what the fair calls for. Your suppliers deliver to our warehouse, or we collect from them, and everything you buy across the phases ships home as one door-to-door consignment. Not attending? Your suppliers can still deliver to us directly.
